Galatians 2:20
Christ Is Life Ministries is a non-denominational, discipleship ministry. The primary focus of this ministry is teaching Christians the meaning of the foundational, life- transforming truth that Christ is our life as revealed in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus.” A second focus of Christ Is Life Ministries is to share with Christians what it means in their daily life to live from God as their Source.
A third focus of the ministry is based on the truth expressed in Galatians 2:20 when Paul says, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” Paul is saying that it is not up to him to produce the life that God wants to live in and through him. We teach Christians what it means for God to live His life in and through them.
Finally, God’s desire for the Christian is to live in total dependence on Him. John 15:5 tells us, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.” Living in dependence on God allows Him to set Christians free from a life of self-effort and trying, with God’s help, to live the Christian life. The promised result will be enjoying an abundant life (John 10:10), experiencing greater intimacy with God (John 17:26), living in greater freedom (John 8:32), experiencing greater victory (I Corinthians 15:57), being transformed (Romans 12:2), and completing the good works which God has prepared for us to do in Him (Ephesians 2:10).
